Hello everyone!

I just uploaded my film: Hit and Run.

It is my fist film... and it was written and directed exclusively for this contest. I've been lurking on the boards for the past couple of weeks and am excited to see all of the work everyone has submitted.

This project was so much fun... but so much work. From learning editing software to finding locations, it has taken up all of my spare time. I hope you will all enjoy it... but please feel free to leave as much criticism as you'd like. This was a learning project for me and constructive criticism is always appreciate.

Thanks and good luck!

Plot: A disheveled farmer kills a small child in a hit-and-run accident and is haunted in the aftermath.

Sounds cool, looking forward to seeing it.
And Congrat's on getting your first movie completed!!! it is a great accomplishment... so many start and then fade away.

I too created my entry just for this contest, and getting a script written, shot, edited in a week or two is alot of work (especially for a beginner), but if you enjoy it, it's worth it.

Awesome poster. I can't wait to watch some of these movies. This is the longest thing I've ever shot. (before that was only 30 seconds). We had alot of fun. Good luck.

I'm seriously stoked about this event. I don't even like calling it a contest anymore, because frankly I'm more excited about being among other artists and aspiring film makers than winning a prize. Admittedly, the drive to win made us all put our whole souls into it, but at the end of the day, I'm just proud we all took the time and energy to get something out there.
