Clowns... always a good scare! It sort of looks like he's wearing a white cooking apron... ready to start up the barbecue! If so, I don't want to know what's on the menu. Ok, yes I do want to know...

Yeah, it was a head....i didnt want to be too graphic, so I used it only once in the movie. By the way I'll have a behind the scenes extra on today or tomorrow!!!

I'm sorry I haven't posted the behind the scenes interview like I promse. I'll try tomorrow but don't hold your breath. The studio that interviewed me has been swamped due to political workshops. But who wants to know some trivia about the movie.
-David Heath Yates (me) is the director, writer, editor, and producer of this short. He also plays the clown called "Heathcliff" -Yen Nguyen (Rose) has worked with Heath before in another thriller short called stalker. -Chuck Manning (James) is a friend Heath has had since Elementary school. Chuck is in all of heath's work. -Media Law is mentioned in the telephone conversation with Dr. Gacey and his son. Media Law is a class that mass communications students at West Georgia are terrified of and it is mentioned in all Heath's film. -David (the smart arse artist played by Tim Petty ) is named after the director because I can be a jerk for the fun of it. -Tim Petty's house is James' house. -The movie's cast and crew were 90% University of West Georgia's students, faculty, and alumni. -Dr. Gacey is named after serial killer John Wayne Gacey who use to like to dress up as clowns. -The makeup artist for Heathcliff is found behind James in the classroom. Katy Rhodes is the redheaded student with the cleavage. -David Heath Yates directed most of the movie in clown makeup. He did take off the polyester costume. So he directed topless with a bowtie own while wearing clown makeup. -The DP Jose works with Heath before on Stabin Cabin'. -Huck You Productions comes from Heath+Chuck=Huck. Heath and Chuck are both owners of it. -There's an extended version of No Laughing Matter which will be for sale with Heath's other shorts. -Dr. Gacey is Heath's professor Dr. Brad Yates(no relation). He teaches media law. -Heath did all the lighting and was Chuck's wet down boy....I pour water on him to make him look sweaty. -Anthony Johnson is a real policeman and friend of Tim Petty. -The short was inspired by lead actors Chuck's fear of clowns and because David Heath Yates looks like John Wayne Gacey. -The clown laugh was perfected during the shooting of Stabin Cabin' and the key to the laugh's creepiness is the end of it. I sent my movie in. i'm excited to see what chiller uses it for. i kinda wish they be more descriptive of their plans for our shorts. I just can't stand secrets.
