Hi everyone.
SHUDDER, a short film by Steve Taylor, depicts the events surrounding DAVID, an amatuer photographer, and a strange camera he purchases from a newspaper ad. In the fine tradition of asian horror, SHUDDER delivers a surreal and creepy vision of what lurks in the shadows. Visually compelling, SHUDDER will have you looking behind you whenever you find yourself home alone. "Sometimes film can capture more than pictures" I really drew on some of my favorite directors(Takashi Miike and Dario Argento) for this one. |

Here are a couple stills from SHUDDER. I tried to stay away from a LOT of gore in this movie, which is kind of a stretch for me. Check 'em out.

From one amatuer photographer to another! Never seen "Shutter" but I'll have to check it out. Im a big fan of asian horror. Dude just wondering what you shot you film on...it looks great. The time lapse stuff is very nice as well as the camera on a stick angles you got. Also saw that you are in Helena, not sure where that is, but I live and work out of Cincinnati. Possible collaboration on a horor movie in the future? Stay in touch. Steve |

Sorry guys, no trailer as of yet. Been too busy to slap one together. I actually shot and edited this film in only 2 days, which makes me feel pretty good seeing some of the other entries. I think I pulled off some pretty decent stuff with the time I had. If I can get a trailer up before Friday I will so everyone can take a peek. Until then

Nice vibrant look to the footage... Like something is seeping through and trying to get out. It also has a very edgey sort of flicker, like everything is going to shatter at any moment. Love the chilling soundscape. Great work! Looking forward to catching the whole film! Also saw that you are in Helena, not sure where that is, but I live and work out of Cincinnati. Possible collaboration on a horor movie in the future? Stay in touch. Yes, definitely some collaboration potential is in order. Will message. I shot STAY outside of my hometown of Gibsonburg, Ohio... NW Ohio. Yes, middle of nowhere! -------------------- |
