This looks to be a B movie, but don't we all like a good B every once in a while... Of course I want to see this, since it has zombies in it!!!!! I'm sure it's a strait to DVD movie.

release October 2007

http://www.plane-dead.com/

IMDB: On a flight from Los Angeles to Paris, a mad scientist on the run from the CIA is transporting a coffin containing the body of a colleague infected with a genetically modified virus. While the 747 crosses a violent thunderstorm, the instability of the aircraft allows the corpse to get out of its container. The flesh-eating zombie quickly starts to spread the virus, infecting many of the passengers which now will have to fight for their lives stranded in the air with no way out...

I saw this flick about a month or so ago and let me tell ya, it is a very fun movie. Its obvious that the filmmakers intended to just make a fun movie, and they sure didn't skimp on the gore and violence. Now I know that a horror movie don't have to be a violent gore filled bloodbath to be good, but its a zombie movie so it doesn't hurt. lol Richard Tyson proves that he is a very underestimated actor that deserves more credit than he gets. I recommend that everyone gives this film a chance. What do you have to lose?
goremageddon
I think I will try it out. The only thing is, I don't really think a zombie epidemic on a plane would last long enough to make a movie. I'd say that it would probably be about 20 minutes until that plane would have went down.
astralpictures
Haha, is there going to be a new horror movies on a plane sub-genre now? tongue.gif
reivax
I'll probably get this on DVD and I hope it's a lot better than Snakes on a Plane.

I am surprised, with all the "...on a plane" movies, they didn't just call it "Zombies on a Plane". laugh.gif tongue.gif laugh.gif

They wouldn't have to worry about a plane crash. laugh.gif they are already dead.

What if they actually did do that though? Made zombies that could fly? Or zombies that had wings. That would be the ultimate lameness if you ask me.
micki_dallion

Yeah, we need Samuel! Maybe, it will have someone who just says the line to rip it off of Sam.
goremageddon
That would be so lame, yet so funny.

This was an enjoyable movie. Comes off more like a comic book, but it was the movie that SNAKES ON A PLANE wanted to be but failed to live up to.

I agree with you. I like a good B movie. Every now and then. I will be looking for this one. Thanks for posting this. I'm finding many interesting things on Chiller.

It's been out for like a year almost. It fucking slays. Wal Mart has it for nine bucks. Check it out!

I finally watched it tonight. I was expecting a Sci-Fi original type of crappy movie, but I actually enjoyed it. The build up was fairly nice and the actors were decent (especially the cop and prisoner). It was a fun little movie that didn't try to be more than it could afford to be. My only real complaint was the down-trodden ending that I knew was coming. Why do these zombie movies always have to end the same, even if it defies logic already established earlier in the movie?

SPOILERS

For example, a few bullets to the chest kills the zombies earlier, like humans. Yet, the one zombie is ripped in half at the end and they all fell thousands of feet, yet survived? If a bullet to the chest killed them earlier, then surely they'd all be dead.

Anyway, it was your basic zombie movie and nothing more. No real innovation, no crazy gore that is a step above the rest, and not much of a plot. Now it sounds like I'm slamming it, but I'm really not. If you like zombie movies, then you'll probably like this. If you don't, then it probably won't be for you.
