Looks like a few re-releases this week. I will probably Netflix The Ruins, but that is it.

Wise move. Definitely not a "keeper". Make sure you get the unrated one--you need to see one scene in all of it's glory believe me.
Buhbuhraven
maybe the Ruins

nothing else really jumps out at me

I haven't posted in about a year. But I wanted to take the opportunity to talk up a gem of a movie I saw on DVD today. It was called Dracula II: Ascension. It was a sequel to Dracula 2000. I didn't care for Dracula 2000, but this sequel was awesome. the characters were fantastic. The low budget movie restricted them in the right way (No annoying, long special effects). It was filled with twists.

I was thinking of getting the Unrated Ruins today.. Should I not pick it up?

I have both of them. I haven't watched Tooth and Nail yet but I did watch Mulberry st. It was better than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be like the 8 films to die for series, which I didn't enjoy very much, but I was happy to see that it wasn't too bad.

I wasn't too crazy about the 8 films either. The Abandoned was the only one of the bunch I would consider a keeper. Tooth and Nail wasn't what I was expecting but it was still better then most of the new movies I've seen. Just can't go wrong when Vinnie Jones is involved.
Frontier(s) was awesome though! Really really gory!
brandon_fear
Every time I go into my local movie rental place I always pass up Frontier(s).

Looks like I won't be passing it up this time.

Wow! This thread hasn't been used in a while! So, who's going out Tuesday to buy Friday the 13th uncut, Friday the 13th part 2 (with new bonus features), Friday the 13th 3D (squee!), and His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th? I will! I really wouldn't buy part 2 if it wasn't for the special features since I have it, and it's not uncut. But, part 1 being uncut kicks ass, and I sure as hell am not going to pass up getting part 3 in 3D! The documentary sounds awesome too!
dougW
I'm getting it for damn sure! I need to check in around here more often, I knew nothing about this.
