Bought Halloween II and rebought the two disc Day of the Dead tonight. Under 20 bucks. Hell yeah.
i bought the double feature of "it's alive again/island of the alive", "april fools day", and monster squad off ebay the other night. $22 for all of them after s&h.

I am thinking of buying the Tremors movies. The set is at my Wal Mart for nine bucks.
I got a copy of Polanski's Macbeth the other day.
I bought From Hell the other night, too.
I need to watch that again sometime soon. We were just discussing jack the ripper in lit class.

Exactly. In the movie he didn't, but I think it would have been better if they did let him get away.
I hated the end of the film! Everyone knows the real killer got away, why couldn't they let him escape? Evil hollywood.
Seriously. Everyone wants to see the killer get away with his murders in movies. This was the perfect situation to make everyone happy. I think that the dvd has an alternate ending, but I haven't seen it, because the menu is so fucked up, and hard to read and move around on. I hate crappy menus.
Yeah, I have not seen it either. See if you can find it.
I'll look into it later this afternoon. I forgot that it was Saturday, you don't have school. It's weird not going to school, because you forget that other people do,lol
yeah I am hoping Astral will start soon so that I can get some sleep and not have to post constantly to keep ahead of him!

Polanski's version kicks ass! I love Orson Welles version, which is influenced heavily by German Expressionism with harsh shadows and such, but Polanski's version is just gruesome!

It has some cool stuff on disc two. And the booklet is badass.

went to a video store out of town this weekend. ended up purchasing pan's labyrinth, see no evil, cannibal holocaust, zombi 2, and nightbreed. nightbreed and see no evil were in some clearance bin for $3.99. pretty cool i thought. haven't got to watch cannibal holocaust or pan's labyrinth yet.
Pans is great! It was one of my favourites from last year.

Yeah, I thought Pan's Labyrinth was really good too. Some people were mad because they were expecting a lot more fantasy and horror instead of a movie more based in reality, but I think the reality scenes were the truly terrifying ones.

Think that's a list, just to buy? Try playing all that, just to ensure that all the DVDs work.
I can't just buy something and let it sit on the shelf, I have to physically run the DVD to ensure it's functional before I put it away!
