The obvious answer is - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original 1974). Okay, so if your fear is big mentally retarded men chasing people with chainsaws, this movie might not be for you. But hey, it could help you get over it. I can't remember if you've seen Evil Dead 2 or not, but it's half comedy with the chainsaw and you might like that. Last House on the Left ended with a pretty sweet chainsaw scene too. You know, I can't think of any more decent chainsaw movies off the top of my head, unless you count crap like Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers.

See Astral, I saw this yesterday and didn't really know what to suggest because I thought if she's truly scared of chainsaw men then Texas Chainsaw is the granddaddy of her fears so I thought about suggesting Texas Chainsaw 2 since they played a lot of humor in that one but it's still a totally freaky movie in it's own way and it certainly has a nasty streak in it as well. lol I just didn't want to get blamed for any ensuing nightmares or perhaps a lifetime phobia of Chainsaw Men from here on out due to my suggestions.

I'll gladly take the blame. Watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the sequel, and keep your mind open. If you're scared, remember that's a good thing for a horror movie to do.
