Okay, I just watched Tales From the Crypt Presents Demon Nights again yesterday and thought I would see if anyone else had checked this movies out. Personally I loved it as well as Bordello of Blood the other movie put out in the series. I've always loved the humor in the Tales from the Crypt series and I think it translated well into the movie. Also Jada Pinkett was a kick ass heroine and I absolutely loved Dennis Miller in Bordello of Blood as well as Cory Feldman. Their a little cheesy but sometime cheese and horror just taste great together. Any way what do you think and are there anymore movies that were presented by Tales from the Crypt barring of course the original Tales from the Crypt movies of the 70's and early 80's? Let me know.

There was a followup to Bordello of Blood called Tales from the Crypt presents Ritual. It was supposed to originally be in theaters but since Bordello didn't perform too well it got released direct to dvd. It stars Tim Curry and Jennifer Grey and is more of a voodoo horror movie. Anyone who has seen this direct to dvd movie knows it's not really voodoo it's just plain doodoo. How is that for an in depth review hehe. laugh.gif

hehe well I guess it wasn't much of a review. smile.gif I think I was disappointed
because I love Tales from the Crypt and I hadn't heard anything about this
film. I was just excited to watch a new Tales from the Crypt movie but
It just didn't seem to have the same quality of the other two. I thought,
"you can't go wrong with Tim Curry" well, in the end...I guess you can. I
really liked Demon Knight though. I thought Billy Zane was a riot in it.
Also, the guy in the bar in Bordello who kept asking, "ARE YOU LOOKING FOR
SEX?!!!" cracked me up every time he said it. hehe

Yeah that scene was hilarious, also the other bar scene with Dennis Miller was pretty funny too. Dennis Miller kills me in this movie. Best scene though, has to be the mortician playing choo choo train with the cadever, absolutely hilarious.

I love both these movies I got my double feature of this on DVD about half a year ago.

I like DK better Then BoB but each had great humor as well as a interesting plot...Imo.

For me, Tales from the Crypt was always better in small 30 minute doses. A lesson I learned from the movies. tongue.gif Bordello of Blood is my favorite out of the movies, though, and now that I know there is a TFC movie with Tim Curry, I am going to have to see it wink.gif

They did a really great job with the two Crypt movies they made. It's just a shame they only made two of them.

I loved this movie, Billy Zane is a wonderful actor and jada pinkett gave an awesome performance as the heroine. I especially like the scene with billy zane dressed up as a cowboy dancing around singing "you f#$%ing ho down, lo down hic mf'rs. LOL.
I also liked bordello of blood, but I just haven't been able to get over the whole corey haim comedic genre, So I never really liked him as a horror movie person myself. I did however like him as "frog" in the first "Lost Boys", but I did not like where they took his character in "The Tribe". Well that's my 2 cents for today.

Yeah, I liked Demon Nights better than Bordello of Blood. Well, Bordello of Blood is a good bad movie night kind of movie, but I will just watch Demon Nights because it's pretty good horror. I am going to have to see if Netflix has The Ritual to add to my queue. You can't go wrong with Tim Curry! His awesome musical number in The Worst Witch is reason enough to track down that obscure 80s flick.
