Alright, my horror community, I know you will all appreciate this; Recently, I was lucky enough to get tickets for a Q & A conference with horror director George Romero. It was two hours with the indie creator of zombie movies and it was great! Not only is he a laid back and very cool guy, he also showed the audience, of about 80 people, clips from his new living dead movie that he's filming in Canada right now. The slate in the shots was labeled "? of the living dead" so a definite title isn't out there yet. I just wanted to share this experience with all of you and let you know that fame has not spoiled this guy. There are lots of celebs out there who are awful, but not George Romero. By the way, the only thing he hates are fast zombies! He said if dead people ran that fast their ankles would break! Good to know...

That sounds great! I'm super jealous of you now. Yeah, he does seem like he would be a really cool person. And, I'm so glad to hear that he's working on a new Dead movie!

The new movie looks like it should be really wild. He did mention that he was going to have a first in this movie...the first ever undead animal. That might be cool! He was so laid back! There was a woman in the audience who told him she was so honored to be 20 feet away from him and he just said, "Please... c'mon, just sit down." Then a guy told him happy belated birthday and Romero said "Thanks, but I don't celebrate birthdays anymore." And the guy said he looked good for turning 69 and Romero said, "No, I don't." Everyone was cracking up.

I'm so envious of you!
I would have been beaming with fan girl adoration!
So '? of The Living Dead'?
I watched 'House of The Dead' & he said he might call the new one 'Dusk' or 'Twilight' of the living dead, possibly.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
