I really enjoy watching Miami Vice on Sleuth - I applaud Sleuth for not editing the shows to mere shadows of their former selves - that is so annoying on some networks that these older shows that allowed for less commercial time than today are edited very badly.

I think, despite the clothing and hair styles, that Miami Vice is one of the BEST shows ever made and will stand up against anything on the air today.

I really enjoyed Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett and find him an incredible actor in anything he does. I truly wish he would be in a new series. I was devasated when Nash Bridges didn't come back for a 7th season. That was an awesome show with a great emsemble and some very unique supporting characters. That is another area in which Miami Vice excelled. Who can forget the informants on MV?

I just wish the shows would run in the original order. For some reason, on this go round, they are skipping some shows.

I truly hope that anyone who wasn't around when the show aired originally and went to see the movie version with Jamie Fox and Colin Farrel would forget everything they saw and tune in to watch the original series on Sleuth. The movie was a mess! It was really hard to believe that Michael Mann had anything to do with the movie, because it was such a disaster. They should have just called up the old cast and made a movie with them - it couldn't have been any worse than what they produced!

Completely agree. 'Vice' was ahead of its time. Michael Mann is/was a brilliant Director. The mix of music, fashion, pop culture, stunning lineup of guest stars (up + coming Bruce Willis, Viggo Mortensen, Lou Diamond Phillips, Liam Niesen, Melanie Griffith, ... plus pop icons like Gene Simmons, Ted Nugent, etc) is as impressive today as it was 20+ years ago. Every episode is a trip back to the 80's.
