You know I'm thinking this Halo 3 game will help us in our goal to get more Firefly/Serenity.

Halo players will recognize the voices when they hear commericals for our Big Darn Heroes projects. And eventually they will come across another player who knows about Firefly/Serenity. And those Halo players will check out Firefly/Serenity.

Yep. This is a good thing.

You only have to watch the Opening cutscene of Halo 3 to hear the voices of Alan Tudyk & Nathan Fillion...

Yeah, you know I've been reading the the halo posts for a while and thinking that is interesting. Then I read that Halo 3 had $170 million in sales in the first 24 hours. I'm like swwhat???? That is like a movie blockbuster. How expensive is this game?

Then someone posted on Nathan's myspace about Nathan's voice saying "I got your back" and I was like that is so cool.

Halo 3 is like humans fighting aliens game right? So the Halo players probably like Science Fiction already.

So yeah! Browncoats on gaming sites and everywhere etc can bring up Firefly/Serenity because of Halo 3. Spread the news! Whoo-hoo!

I've been playing through Halo 3 and found out that Nathan is the marine on top of the bridge being beat by a alien on the first level. After you save him you can point your gun at him and after awhile he will make comments. Some of them are pretty funny. I've heard Adam and Alan, as well but haven't hunted then down yet.

It looks like a great game so far. I hear Nathan is a huge Halo fan. It would be interesting to track down his gamer tag and see his rank - but I would guess that he keeps his gamer tag secret (if he even plays online!)

I must say, I am actually a bigger Halo fan than I am Browncoats, only because I've been into Halo for longer...so this is amazing news to me!!!! Nice find, I'm gonna go play through Halo 3 again.

When I was playing the level where you(SLIGHT SPOILER!!) fight the first Scarab while trying to take out the anti-aircraft guns, at one point I heard one of the marines yell out,and I quote..."Shiny, it's the Chief!" Of course I simply thought that the someone at Bungie was a browncoat and gave us a small shoutout. Once I watched the credits and saw who was providing voicework, I about fell out. I only heard it in passing, once, but thinking back on it I want to say it was Nathan who said it. I could be wrong, however. My gamertag is Jobe13. Be warned, I suck at multiplayer. But if any browncoats want to have a friendly little deathmatch, I'm game.

I heard that too. I swear that I heard Adam Baldwin say "Where's Vera?" at one point. My and my bro heard it and we could not believe it. It was awesome.

Shiny, thanks for the info. I saw them in the credits, but didn't listen for them. Gonna have to play again. And yes, I was one of the crazies waiting in line the first night (brought a lawn chair and watched Serenity on my PSP)

Just a quick non-firefly related heads up to any Halo player that doesn't know, you need to complete the game on Heroic to get the good ending wink.gif I haven't done it yet but my housemate managed it and it's good!
