Operation Full Burn: Lift Off!, Part 2 of Operation Full Burn takes off! Options

Ni hao again fellow Browncoats! Operation Full Burn is still underway and as "Lift Off" to the series draws near I want to continue to show Universal that the 'Verse is worth investing in. To do this I'd like Browncoats to show their support for the 'Verse by showing up to these forums on April 5th just before 8 PM Eastern Standard Time as Serenity break atmo in High Def for the first time this season. It's just one big forums shindig really!

That's it! That's all a Browncoat has to do to show their shiny love for the 'Verse. Just show up to the forums here as Serenity heads out into the High-Definition black for 14 weeks. It's a piece of pressed protein cake with chocolaty frosting!

As always folks are welcome to say somethin' if they got words but the point is to get as many Browncoats on the site as we can at one specific time "Lift Off" time in this case, and show Universal just how much folks love Joss's work, love the 'Verse, and want more of it.

As of right now the most folks who have ever been on the Universal site at one time has been 90 folks. Sure it's a nice round number but it's a small one and I want to blow it up with Browncoats so that Universal will see that we are still here and holdin' for them to make Serenity 2.

That's the notion folks. I hope to see everyone there... feel free to bring a WHOLE bunch of friends!

Capt. yha... but if it's too early or late for some folks you can always just login and leave your computer running. My computer isn't a huge fan of booting up and powering down frequently so often times I just let it run or do a virus scan or whatever and just turn off the monitor. It's an option for folks who would have to be awake a 4 AM.

Yes, same here. I clicked on the text and it re-wrapped so I could see the entire line. Strange!

8:00pm Saturday will be 4:00am Sunday Tel Aviv time. Since Sunday is the first day of the work week here, I will set the alarm a bit early and log on while I get ready for work. I won't be able to watch but I will support the numbers on line.

Actually it would be, if I am correct, Sunday, April 6th, at 10 AM in the morning for folks in Sydney and Brisbane. If anyone is on the other side of the island in Perth it will be 8 AM on Sunday morning. That sounds like a good morning to me. Grab yourself a nice hot cup of tea along with some Weet Bix and Vita Brits and logon. Naturally being dinner here I think I'm going to go with some Chinese. Fresh bao anyone?

Ah! I'm glad you asked Jim. I forgot that I had already spoken to the Admin about this and that's a no go. Something to do with liability issues or something. I was bummed out too but I'm thinking that FireflyFans.net has a nice chat feature so perhaps we should use theirs. Plus they are good folks to be sure and it's a good place for Browncoats to visit anyway if any already don't. So this way folks can login here and in a different window join the chat over on FFF.net. Sound good to you folks?

For folks who have never been to the site the chat link is the third link in on the very thin bar just under the "Quote" bar and above the "Latest Features" right after "Home" and "Log-in". (I hope that makes sense. LOL!) The links are right justified so if you have a wide monitor they will be off to the right a little.

It's only Autumn Amillion2one, you'll be fine But it is getting cold early this year I have to admit, I'm already rugged up in a fleecy jumper. And I'm in Queensland...

I should be present and accounted for on the day - depends what happens the night before really. Might have to lay off the Mudders Milk on the Saturday night.

I might actually go Chinese for brekky; used to get combination roast pork - roast duck with my ex-g/f for breakfast on Sunday mornings. Highly unhealthy, but it beats even bacon and eggs - and I love bacon and eggs... will be a great way to start the day - chatting with chums while chowing down on chinese - cheers

Come Saturday night (or Sunday morning depending on where you are) I will set up an Official "Lift Off" thread that I will temporarily pin for the special occasion. In it folks can post whatever they like (minding it's not somethin' objectionable of course), thus chatting about the episode, just sayin' thanks to Uni-HD, begging Universal to make a Big Damn Sequel, commenting on which BDH you like best or what other movies they are in, or even which website has the shinyest Admin and Moderating crew in the 'Verse are all perfectly acceptable.
